Essentials of Recreational Diving
The holder of the EOR Essentials of recreational Diving certification has proven proficiency in what we call personal skills. Skills like:
– 5 different propulsion kicks, Frigkick, Modified Frogkick, Helicopter turn, Modified flutter kick, and back kick.
– Basic six, manipulation of their longhose and encklace style Hoghartian configured regulators and mask comfort
– The use of an SMB from a neutral balanced position
– Proficient in sharing gas using the linghose and necklace
– Dive planning using Ratio Deco 3.0 and Rockbottom Gas planning
The EOR program does not grant the diver additional privileges underwater, such as depth or certain gases; those remain as previously certified.
Essentials of Technical Diving
The holder of the EOT Essentials of Technical Diving certification has proven proficiency in what we call personal skills. Skills like:
– 5 different propulsion kicks, Frigkick, Modified Frogkick, Helicopter turn, Modified flutter kick, and back kick.
– Basic six, manipulation of their longhose and necklace style Hoghartian configured regulators and mask comfort
– The use of an SMB from a neutral balanced position
– Proficient in sharing gas using the linghose and necklace
– The configuration and use of twin cylinders, with skills like valve drill
– The configuration and use of a stage/deco cylinder
– Dive planning using Ratio Deco 3.0 and Rockbottom Gas planning
The EOT program does not grant the diver additional privileges underwater, such as depth or certain gases; those remain as previously certified.
The EOT certification is the prerequisite for all of our technical and Overhead courses.
Essentials of CCR
The holder of the EOCCR Essentials of CCR certification has proven proficiency in the personal skills while diving their CCR. They have learned to use the CCR in the UTD configuration for either Recreational Diving or Technical Diving.
The EOCCR program does not grant the diver additional privileges underwater, such as depth or certain gases; those remain as previously certified.
The EOCCR certification is the prerequisite for all of our technical and Overhead courses on the CCR for non-UTD-trained CCR divers.
Essentials of Sidemount
The holder of the EOSM Essentials of sidemount certification has proven proficiency in the personal skills while diving in a UTD/DIR compatible sidemount configuration. They have learned to use sidemounted cylinders in the UTD configuration for either Recreational Diving or Technical Diving.
The EOSM program does not grant the diver additional privileges underwater, such as depth or certain gases; those remain as previously certified.
The EOSM certification is the prerequisite for all of our technical and Overhead courses in a simount configuration for non-UTD-trained CCR divers.
