Drysuit Extension

This certification allows the diver to use and rent drysuits. They have shown proficiency in the use and care of drysuits to their level of diving.

Nitrox Extension

The Nitrox certification gives the diver the knowledge to analyse and use Nitrox 32% to a maximum depth of 30m or 100feet. Within the decompression limits of the diver’s other certification.

Doubles Extension

This diver has the skills needed to dive with a twin set. The diver knows the setup, hose routing, and the function of the valves. This diver might not be trained in technical diving; check other certifications for this. A doubles extension is usually taken as an upgrade from our Essentials of Recreational Diving to our Essentials of Technical Diving.

Stage Extension

This gives the diver the skills to use a Stage to extend the divetime or to do 2 dives on the same back-gas. Its usually and extension

DPV-1 Diver

This diver has the skills to operate and use the DPV in recreational dives where the DPV is not used to go further than is safe to swim back on the same gas supply. This diver has proved to be competent in the basic use and care of the DPV. See their other certifications for depth and gas limitations

DPV-2 Diver

The DPV-2 course is an extensive DPV course in the use of a DPV in a 1/3 usable gas scenario, such as in Technical or Overhead dives. The diver has been trained in the use of a DPV for advanced diving with backup and redundant scooters. They are competant in more complex planning within the limits of their other certification levels.
