Welcome to UTD Scuba Diving’s Cylinder and Valve Technician course. This class will prepare you to complete visual inspections on steel and aluminum scuba cylinders and will train you to perform valve maintenance and simple repairs.
You will learn a visual inspection method that is consistent, safe, organized and meets Compressed Gas Association Standards, US Department of Transportation Regulations, Transport Canada’s Regulations and manufacturers’ recommendations. So, let’s get started.
