About The Cave Systems
Jackson Blue (“JB” as it is commonly referred to) holds a special place in cave diving history as it was originally explored and surveyed by Sheck Exley. “JB” is accessible from land and provides constant temperature, crystal-clear water, and an intricate system of passages and chambers to explore.
Just up the pond about 500 yards from Jackson Blue is “Twin Caves.” Twin provides an incredible “Subway Tunnel” extending back several hundred feet from the entrance of the cave and provides 3 unique passages to explore.
Further down the pond is “Hole in the Wall.” This cave starts with a large chimney down to about 80 feet where there are two passages – upstream and downstream. Each passage hosts large, open, and incredible chambers to explore.
About The Facility
The Overhead Environment is located in Marianna, FL within a five minute drive to Jackson Blue Springs Cave System.
With a full service fill station, nightly community firepits, the Cave Concierge meal plan, free wifi, and ample space to take care of your gear; it is an ideal operation to host UTD Cave Week 2024.
